Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the relationship between
lifestyle behaviors and obesity in children from Lahore
city of Pakistan.
Methodology: This cross-sectional study of 90 school
students aged 9 to 15 years old was carried out using a
validated questionnaire. To avoid biases, data were
retained after collection in a secure location. We
investigated about food, physical activity, and TV use.
Data were organized and entered on SPSS version 24.
Chi-square was applied for comparisons of
percentages between groups formed.
Results: There was an immediate connection between
weight and physical latency and association with
variables like sitting in front of the television and
irregular eating routine.
Conclusion: There was a negative effect on
overweight children in tuition-based schools of
Lahore. Physicians and researchers should use health
related quality of life evaluations when evaluating the
health of obese children and adolescents.
