Abstract
Mazhar ul Islam is a Pakistani post modern short story writer that his literary
works created an uniqe style in Urdu literature. He picks up his subjects from folklore
and the life of common people around him. Mazhar ul Islam transfers the real
historical and national events of his time tothereadersin a symbolist manner.
