Abstract
This research delves into the intricate relationship between human rights and criminal justice, elucidating the challenges encountered and proposing navigational strategies. As pillars of democracy, human rights are integral to ensuring fairness and equality within criminal justice systems. However, various hurdles impede their implementation, including pretrial detention abuses, police misconduct, discrimination, and inadequate prison conditions. To address these challenges, the article advocates for legal reforms, enhanced training, diversity promotion, and investment in alternatives to incarceration. By prioritizing human rights principles, stakeholders can foster a more equitable and effective criminal justice system, thereby advancing justice for all individuals.
