Abstract
Imam Shah Wali Ullah (1703-1762) has influnced the literary circle of the Sub-Continent very deeply. He was interpreter of Quran and Hadith as well as thinker and researcher of first rank. He has been paid tribute due to his literary qualities by many scholars. That is why a great number of books and articles about him is found. Chairs with reference to this great personality have been established by various universities. Many universities have awarded the degrees of M.A, M.Phil and P.h D to the students who have worked on his thoughts and mode of thinking. Even then the need of standard research in this regard can be felt. It was needed that an explanatory concordance about the research work done.in our universities should be compiled. I have tried to collect and compile the data regarding research done on Shah Wali Ullah in any university of Pakistan. So explanatory concordance regarding research Thesises of P.h D level written on Shah Wali Ullah is presented in first phase.
