Abstract
Rasa Jalandhari)1894-1977) was a great poet of GHAZAL and NAZM in
the 20th century, which is known as a golden period of knowledge and
literature in Punjab. Having mature poetic thoughts, his poetry is indeed
according to the literary standards. Although he is not popular like other
great poets but his power of expressions is totally like great poets. The
objective of this research paper is to introduce the prominent
characteristics of Rasa's poetry. This article represents a critical analysis
only of his GHAZAL. His contributions for Urdu literature is worthy to be
described.
