Abstract
Dostoevsky is a well known Russian writer of nineteenth century. Dostoevsky
created novels in world literature, which contain higher philosophical and
religious content with high quality of artistic and aesthetical significance.
Dostoevsky's, Novel Crime & Punishment contains social and philosophical
topics like origin of crime.
This article elaborates the Russian Socialists view point about Crime in
Nineteenth Century Russia. It also highlights the author's opinion about the
social menace in the light of religion and philosophy.
