Abstract
Iqbal was a great poet, philosopher and thinker. He remained in contact with
hundreds of scholars through correspondence. The following are some
prominent names in this connection: Sayyed Suleman Nadvi, Ghulam Qadir
Bilgirami, Akbar Elah Abadi, Molvi Abdul Haq, Attia Begum, Emma Wegenast,
Pandit Javahir Lal Nehro, Sayyed Nazir Niazi, Khawaja Hasan Nizami, Akbar
Shah Najib Abadi, Khan Muhammad Niazuddin Khan, Qaid e Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mahatima Ghandhi, etc. One of them is Kishanparshad.
He remained prime minister of the State of Hyderabad. Iqbal had a keen desire
to have a job at some valuable position at Hyderabad. Unluckily, he failed to
materialize this desire. Iqbal's letters were first published by Dr. Mohayyuddin
Qadri Zor in 1942 and then by Abdullah Qureishi in 1968. These letters throw
light on Iqbal's relations with Parshad. Moreover, these letters help comprehend
Iqbal's personal, scholarly and political life. This Article deals with the
