Abstract
Dr Atash Durani is a well-known researcher in Urdu language and
literature. He wrote some useful books on Urdu Research. These books
opened the new doors for research of Urdu on modern and scientific
grounds. He threw light on conventional methods of research in Urdu and
guided the research scholars to adopt the modern techniques of research in
Urdu language and literature. This Article is covering a sketch of his
services and also gives an evolution on his research books
