Biographical literature of patriarch of Sindh
Abstract
Biography has always been a primary part of monastic
literature. Biography is a important medium of
reformatory and mental training to the masses especialy
the pople who attach themselves with monastic System.
Therefor the trend of biography is found in every
monastic group. At least all the patriarch of Sindh wrote
biographies. In the article, the biography of the people of
different classes of monastic thought are critically
discussed with particular reference of their stimuli and
style. The diction and style of these biographies are
simple, easy and fluent so that the common man can
comprehend their true sense. Some of these biographies
have touch of literature. But they are lacking research
technicalities. These biographical literature will always
remain pleasant and beneficial.
