Syed Abdullah and Pakistanism
Abstract
" Dr. Syed Abdullah was one of the most moderate scholars of
his times. He was a seasoned thinker and a social scientist of his
era. He educated Pakistanis as to the real meaning of Islamic
ideology of Pakistan was made. He worked all his life to make
Pakistanis the real Muslims capable of achieving the objectives
for which Pakistan was brought into being. He most passionately
and dedicatedly worked to promote the cause of two nations’
theory and Pakistani culture. In all his work, he tried to guide and
educate his nation to be the proud upholder of her religion and
culture. He specially emphasized and highlighted the national
objectives of the very existence of the Pakistan and her culture in
his writings and teachings in order to let the common Pakistani
citizen to be aware of and proud of his heritage of religion and
culture. In this article, an analytical study has been brought
forwarded regarding the sense of Pakistani as elaborated by
Syed Abdullah in his literary works."
