Allegory in “Mazhab-E-Ishq
Abstract
The story of "Gilgamish" probably written about five thousand
years ago. Afterwards Mulla Wajhi writes •Sabras" and sets a
pattern for those who have interest in narration of Dastan.
Mazhab e Ishq by Nihal Chand Lahori is an important part of
Dastanvi Adab. In urdu literature few of the Dastan narrators
uses the technique of •A egory• in their creations or
translations. Mazhab e Ishq is one of them and a fascinating
example Of •Allegory"
