Abstract
Mdana Altaf Hussaim Hali was distinguish figure in Urdu
literature. He is knownas the first critique of Urdu. He traveled in
different parts of subcontinent to fulfil his responsibilities
regarding govemment job. In this regard he also came to
Lahore. He visit of Lahore is very significant in his intellectual
growfr He participated in Anjman e Punjab Moshairas and also
got interest in English literature. He also taught in Echison
college that played its role in grooming. His stay in Lahore has
great impact over his writings In this article humble effort is
made to analyze and comprehend to Stay of Hali there in
Lahore.
