Refrence of Hallaj In Urdu Short Stories
Abstract
Mansoor AVhaIaj was a mystic, poet and teacher of Sufism. He
IS most famous for his saying •l am truth (Analhaq), which many
saw a claim to divinity, whle other interpreted it as an instance
of mystical annihilation of the ego which alows God to speak
through the individual. He was executed after a long period Of
confinement on religious and political charges
Hallaj later became major figure in the Sufi tradition and a
metaphor Of speaking truth in literature Of Arabic, Persian, urdu
and Other oriental languages. His personalty and poetry has put
an dew imoact on son short story writers of urdu.
