Abstract
This research aims to explore the association among managerial coaching and employees‘
workplace in-role behaviors and extra-role behaviors. This study also attempts to analyze the role
of power distance as a moderator between managerial coaching and employee role behaviors.
The data were collected by using self-designed questionnaire the sales representatives working in
three different pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan. The results indicated that managerial
coaching positively influenced employee in-role behaviors and extra-role behaviors. The results
also indicated that association of managerial coaching with role behaviors was moderated by
power distance. Limitation, future directions, and practical implications of this research are also
discussed.
