Abstract
The study focuses on the impact of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) on
Organizational Commitment (OC) and Job Satisfaction (JS). It also tries to
find out the intervening role of Job Satisfaction on the relationship
between Islamic Work Ethics and Organizational Commitment. Data was
collected from 311 faculty members of various government colleges /
universities situated in Rawalpindi, Pakistan by using non probability
convenience sampling method. Statistical tests were conducted by using
AMOS and SPSS. The results show that there is a positive significant
relationship between Islamic Work Ethics, Job Satisfaction and
Organizational Commitment. The results also show that Job Satisfaction
mediates the relationship between Islamic Work Ethics and Organizational
Commitment. Future research recommendation and implications are
discussed in the conclusion
