Abstract
Historically Siraiki language and literature belongs to Indus valley
civilizaon. This great civilizaon is considered the oldest civilizaon of the
world. Indus valley civilizaon is considered the centre of knowledge and wisdom. Siraiki is one of most ancient language of this valley, which has strong
tradions of literature. Damodar Das is the first prominent poet who composed the famous folk love story Heer Ranjha in Siraiki. The characters of the
folk love story have become immortal. Many a siraiki poets have composed
this romance due to its popularity. This arcle presents the introductory and
crical evaluaon of the story versified by different poets in Siraiki
