Abstract
Pashto has her rich folklore-Literature. Since 19th century, many scholars attempted
to gather it and published. Charbeta, Nemakai, Loba and Robaee etc are included in
folklore but its poets are well known. Faqir Shah Maskin is one of them. Though, he
devoted himself to the modern ghazal later, but his poetry of the folklore nature still in
the minds of the mass.
