Abstract
The article is about the ancient pictography, its origin and relation pertaining to the oldest and recent techniques. When we use pictures to express our emotions and communicate through pictures, this form of literature is known as pictography. A picture represents a word, phrase or idea especially one used in early writing systems. A pictorial representation of of numerical data or relationships especially a graph having a value represented by a proportional number of pictures is called pictogram.
