THE CONCEPT OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY FromIslamic and Western Perspective
Abstract
Absolute power is one of the primary elements of state structure
and the central point of political philosophy and politics. What is
its nature and Surronding? Unlike the western inkling in this
perspective, Islamic concept of absolute power is entirely different.
According to the Islamic concept, Allah Almighty holds all powers
in the state affairs. Being the only Creator of the universe, He has
revealed the best of laws and commands for the mankind. Western
belief, on the contrary is limited to their material sensual
understanding of the universe and its subject. The current study
addresses this primary element of state sovereignty in comparison
with the western thought accordingly.
