UPBRINING-LEXICAL CONNOTATION & FEATURES
Abstract
The important concept of terbiyah is lexically analysed in this article
to determine its all aspects and features. Structure and meaning of
this word and its usage in Quran is deeply discussed. The conclusion
is understing that ultimate murab’bi of human being is Allah
almighty. He has provided every prerequisite item required for the
guaidence and terbiyah of the human beings in this realm and they
are created with all the necessary potentials and capabilities
mandatory for their growth. Terbiyah is actually provision of
conducive environment for the holistic development of human
being, so that his potentials can be flourished fully. Terbiyah is a
general, continued, gradual and purposeful endavour. At the end 16
points related to the topic are extracted, structured in 6 different
aspects, having 24 characterestics in total
