Central characters of Mustanser Hussain Tarar's novels are victims of human judgement and fake idealism like Sanan and Barkat Ali. Some characters are the symbol of self-surrender and self-negation. Few of them are the representatives of their collective consciousness. In this essay, a critical analysis of Tarar's novels with reference to his 'concept of man' has been carried out.
