Introduction: Relevance of endometrial hyperplasia study is primarily due to a high risk for malignant transformation and the problems associated with menstrual irregularities, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and anemia in women. Endometrial hyperplasia has a significant place in the structure of gynecological morbidity in women of reproductive age and is one of the most frequent causes of hospitalization in gynecology hospital. Objective: To determine the frequency of endometrial hyperplasia over 45 years old female present with complain of abnormal vaginal bleeding. Setting: At Obstetrics and Gynaecology department of Peoples Medical University & Hospital Nawabshah Duration of Study: One year from June 2015 to May 2016. Study Design: Cross Sectional study. Subject and Methods: A total of 91 women with abnormal vaginal bleeding were included in this study. All patients take detail history then special investigation transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) was done. Endometrium hyperplasia was labeled as in the form of present or absent. Proforma attached was filled accordingly. Results:-The average age was 50.97±4.35 years. Endometrial hyperplasia was found to be 17.58% (16/91) among women over 45 years old present with complain of abnormal vaginal bleeding. Endometrial hyperplasia was statistically insignificant according to age and parity, p-values were quite insignificant. Conclusion: As per study observation endometrial hyperplasia was found to be 17.58% out of ninety ne women having complained of abnormal vaginal bleeding. Early detection diagnosis and management among over 45 years old women with abnormal vaginal bleeding, adverse outcome can be decreased.
