Dr. Mukhtar-ud-din Ahmad is one of the distinguished
Urdu poets in Europe. He is a dauntless critic of
political and contemporary conditions of his age. In
his purposeful verse, he seems to be a follower of the
poetic tradition of Iqbal and Zafar Ali Khan. His
poetic creation 'Aks-e-Awaz' carries diverse topics
such as divine wisdom, love for Prophet Muhammad
(SAW),natural beauty, patriotism, recognition of self,
internal pain and problems of Muslim Ummah. He has
depicted a dreadful picture of atrocities inflicted by the
developed nations on the Muslim. He has also
highlighted the miserable condition of his brethren in
Pakistan.
