Badr Munir is a renowned contemporary researcher, critic and poet. He was born on September 1, 2014 in the village of Khor in Wadi e Soan Skaisar, Khushab District. When it comes to serious and humorous poetry, Badar's name is quite popular in the literary circles. Khushab district is famous for its scholarly and literary personalities. The personalities like Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, Johar Nizami and Dr. Najiba Arif have rendered unforgettable services in the field of literature. Badar Munir's 'Deed a Khush Aab' covers the literary history of District Khushaab as a whole. Meanwhile, Badr Munir has done commendable literary work by compiling Maulvi Abdul Haq's unpublished letters in the form of "Ruqaat-e-Abdul Haq" according to the principle of research. Maulvi Abdul Haq is a pioneer of Urdu literature. The Urdu language is incomplete without him. Maulvi Abdul Haq's historic letters are literary documents of his era, and while going through it the readers goes back in time, and experiences the same atmosphere and breathe in his era. Maulvi Abdul Haq's correspondence with eminent scholars and literary personalities of his time are of immense importance. In these letters, there is a detailed mention of literary associations and libraries of this era. On various topics, literary debate between Maulvi Abdul Haq and eminent researchers of this era is also found. Raqaat-e-Abdul Haq is an invaluable treasure of knowledge and literature, the compilation of which is undoubtedly significant in the field of research. In the present article, an intellectual and critical review of both the books of Badr Munir has been presented in detail. A brief sketch of thoughts and art of the poets included in 'Deeda e Khosh Aab' has also been presented. For this, the author's style of writing has also been brought under discussion.
