Punjabi language was previously known Lahori and before that it was called Hindvi and Hindostani which were actually the different variations of Urdu language. Therefore we want to illustrate the similarity of Punjabi Urdu and Hindi and the linguistic relation among them. Author of Punjabi mai urdu (Urdu in Punjab) Hafiz Mehmood Sherini argues that Urdu is not the language of Delhi but it was a language that accompanied to India. Muslims had migrated into India from Punjab, therefore they must have brought along-with a language that belonged to Punjab. The Political situation, the structure of Urdu, cultural background and other factors support this concept. After it that concept became very strong and most of the researchers corroborated it. Certain linguists made a few additions to the concept and some other researchers presented the statement of sheroni in a distorted form. In this paper all the contradictory concepts in this connection will be investigated to get the logical findings.
