The biography of Holy Prophet (PBUH) has always been a crucial part of Islamic Literature. His earlier and later Biographers did an Excellent Job as they recorded in detail every aspect of his life and produced wonderful classical writings. In this context, they practiced different approaches, styles and methodologies of sirah writing. One of these styles is to derive Juristic Implications and lessons from the Sirah incidents which is called Fiqh-al-Sirah in modern day terminology. Imam Suhayli (d.581 A.H.) started this formally in its book Al-Raud Al Unuf and this style reached in its climax in Zaad al Ma'ad by Ibn e Qayyim (d.751 A.H.). This trend is also found dominant in sirah books which were written by other great scholars like Ibn e Kathir (d.774 A.H.), Allama Maqrezi (d.845 A.H.),Imam Qastallani (d.923 A.H.), Imam Shami (d.942 A.H.), Imam Halabi (d.1044 A.H.) and Allama Zarqani (d.1122 A.H.) etc. These Implication and juristic rulings have been inferred from all the aspects of Prophet's life related to makki and madni era. The derived lessons and instructions cover the religious, social, political, economic and other aspects of a Muslim's life. In this article an attempt has been made to elaborate this style of sirah writing and to define the classification and nature of inferred juristic implications.
