Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research is a Multi-languages research journal which is double blind peer review and open access policy journal biannually being published by the Islamic Research Centre Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan since 2007. It is recognized by The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, and stands in “Y” category of HEC. Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research is indexed by “Index Islamicus SOAS London” and “Islamic Research Index AIOU”. The indexation of Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research by “Al-Manhal” . This journal is abstracted and indexed by the Index Islamicus. Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed research journal. It covers every field of research being conducted under the umbrella of Islamic thought. Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research promotes harmonious understanding among various schools of thoughts. Without any doubt, Pakistan Journal of Islamic Research is deliberately playing a significant role in developing indigenous research approaches through its research innovations, that consequently will help in the improvement of the process of understanding Islamic values. One of the reasons behind publishing this journal was to promote the process of research in which the resolutions can be found to the problems that are being faced by the society today.
