Sanaullah Dar (May 25, 1912 - November 3, 1949) popularly known
as" Meera Jee" is a famous literary figure of Urdu literature . His
simultaneous grip upon Urdu and English literatures created tremendous
developments in modern Urdu poetry. In this article a hand written Biyaz
by Mira Jee himself having the title " Halaqa -e- Pasham -e- Siyah" is
discovered , discussed and analyzed by the author. The main object of this
biyaz witch was a handmade bound shape was its printing and was given
to the publisher for printing. It includes the poetry of Meera Jee during the
period of 1933 to 1940. The discovery of this biyaz has great importance in
the history of Urdu literature and proves him the pioneer of modern Urdu
poetry.
