تلخیص
Salome is an allegory which is based on a story from the New
Testament. The story had influenced various writers of Europe. Oscar Wild
has dramatized the story and Gustav Flaubert has presented it in the form
of a novel. Many writers of Urdu have translated it into Urdu. Abdul Aziz
Khalid has also presented the story in the verse form. This article is a critical
study of this translation.
