Annals of Punjab Medical College

Annals of Punjab Medical College (APMC) is the official journal of Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad. APMC is a Quarterly publishing research medical journal and its first issue came out in 2007. It is registered with District Faisalabad Administration under section 6 of the press, newspaper, news agencies and books registration ordinance - 2002 vide No. 3(25)DCO/SG/2006/6059-63. It is recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Category-"Y". It is indexed with International Standardized Serial Number (ISSN) and eISSN, Citefactor with Impact Factor 1.2, Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and indexation with other bodies is in progress. It is available online as well as print publication. Online, it is available as full text with illustrations and browsing is free. It is fully funded by the Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad and no charges are received from the authors for their article publication. It is an open access journal It contains review articles, original research articles, case reports and letters to editors. Research articles from undergraduate as well as postgraduate students and young scholars are encouraged for publication. Before starting research project the authors must get it approved from the ethical review committee of the institution and must provide the approval certificate at the time of submission. All articles must be written in the light of the guidelines of the International Committee of the Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
