Abstract
Diabetic patients undergoing surgical tooth extraction and their non-fasting blood glucose levels and updated
Glycosylated hemoglobin values were checked pre-operatively. Healing of the extraction sockets were measured on 0 and 14th day
post-operatively by assessing epithelialization rate with periodontal probe from buccal to lingual gingival margins. Epithelialization
up to 75% were considered as healed socket .Post stratification chi square test was applied and p value ≤ 0.05 was considered
significant.
