Limitations and Parameters of humour in Islam
Abstract
Islam is a complete code of life which provides eternal guidance to
the faithful in all walks of life. Islam has very definite stance with
regards to what permissible as far as satire and humour are
concerned. In this context, the writer has tried to convey to the reader
that how far Islam permits its followers to mirthy and where even
these positive emotions are no more permitted under Islam. Further,
an effort has been made to present Holy Prophet's (P.B.U.H) manner
of smile and Islamic concept of humour in a research oriented mode
