Abstract
The Balochi language is spoken in many countries of the
world and it has socio-linguistic contacts with the other native
languages. In the modern times, Balochi is to contact with Persian,
Arabic, Pashto, Turkmen, Sindhi, Punjabi, Saraiki (Lahinda),
English and other European and African languages. At the same
time, the Balochi language has been influenced on the one hand and
on the other hand Balochi has influenced other languages and
assimilated them within it. But Balochi has been largely influenced
in Iran, Afghanistan, and in the Arab countries. In Pakistan and
Turkmenistan the case is different. In many areas in Balochistan, the
foreigners and other native speakers have changed their language
into Balochi or bilingual.
