Abstract
Anees Nagi is considered as one of the good writers and critics. He was full of creative brilliance and literary spirit. His writings were based on modern literary requirements. He had a great command on French language and he had done a thorough study of modern French literature. He not only translated the writings of French writers in Urdu, but also presented their thinking’s in his writings. He had a creative and critical insight. He published an intellectual literary magazine "Danishwar", in which he gave his critical views on the writings by various surnames, which were based on his theoretical ideas. He presented his services in every field of Urdu language and literature. He has more than 80 books on his credit and his literary and journalistic services are enough to keep him alive.
