Abstract
The complete Quran was revealed over a period of 22 years, portion by
portion as and when it was required. The sequence of the ayaat as they appear
in the Mushaf is different from its chronological order of revelations. Most of
the surahas in the Quran form pairs. They form pairs because of the similarities
of the subjects addressed in them. There are also some unique surahas which
don’t form appear with any surah. The surahas have also been divided into
seven-makkan-madinan groups, each group starting with one or more makkan
surahas and ending with one or more madinan surahas. Every Group has a
central them.
In Doctor Israr Ahmed,s Manhaj-e-Tafseer ,Nazm e Quran have primary
importance. He explains the relation between surahas and among ayaat before
every surah. He forms pairs because the similarities of the subjects addressed in
them.
I have tried my level best to explain the importance and uses of Nazm-eQuran in his method of Tafseer.
