Abstract
Ifta, giving a verdict without any power regard its implication, Qada, which is distinguished with having power of implication and Ehtisab, accountability, all the three are of great importance in the light of Shariah. In todays Muslim World it is among the much argumented issues to make all the above three aspects with repective distinctions. Many a times, the Islamic Jurists belonging to the very first department, Ifta, understand mistakenly that they possess power of implemntation also as they possess power of giving jurisdictions, and there occurs the confusion. In the article before the reader, I took this very matter to elaborate the distinct features of the above different departments. Having begin with the definitons of Ifta Qada and Ehtisab, I gave the examples of all the three sections from the era of the Holy Prophet till the era of Tabieen. The descriptions and arguments of Fuqaha has also been pointed out, and in the last I made a detailed section to describe the core object of the paper
