Abstract
This study intends to explore the perceptions of teachers working in different post graduate colleges in Pakistan about the integration of mobile phone in their English classrooms. The population for this study comprises of teachers from the federal capital and all four provincial capitals of the country. Moreover, to justify the study population, Multan city was taken additionally from the Punjab province. 100 teachers each from all the cities were randomly selected and a survey was conducted in which an organized questionnaire comprising of 21questions was distributed to the respondents. The findings of this study show that mobile assisted language learning (MALL) is a new phenomenon and itis approved by Pakistani teachers in their language classrooms. Overall, it has been found that like advanced countries, this technique is not only upholding its place in Pakistan, but its popularity is also rapidly increasing.
