A study of indigenous medicinal plants of Marghazar valley, District Swat Pakistan was conducted during summer 2006. The study
revealed 69 species belonging to 53 families. It included 48 Angiospermic families, 2 Gymnospermic and 1 Pteridophyte and of
potential medicinal value in the area.
