Abstract
The concentration of Fe, Pb, Zn, Cd, Cu and Ni in the soft tissues of two molluscs, Perna viridis (Bivalve) and Turbo coronatus
(Gastropod), from Manora rocky beach, Karachi, Pakistan was determined. The concentration of iron was highest among the metals.
The other metals were present in following decreasing order of concentration: lead, zinc, copper, cadmium and nickel in both the
species. The concentration of all metals except Cu was higher in T. coronatus than P. viridis.
