Abstract
Different blends ofP and K viz. 0-0, 25-25, 50-50, 75-75,100-100,125-125 and 150-150 kg ha' at a basal dose of 25 kg N ha' were applied to mungbean in a sandy loam soil, containing 0.35% N, 6.2 ppm PzOs and 130 ppm KzO. The maximum grain yield of 1058 kg ha! with protein contents of 26.22% was obtained from plots fertilized with 100-100 kg PK ha! which was comparable with that obtained with the application of either 75-75 or 125-125 kg PK hat. However, protein contents in grain tended to decrease beyond 100-100 kg PK ha-I. Key words: agro-qualitative, blend application, Vigna radiata
