Abstract
Like Meraji the founder of free verse in Urdu, Zahid Sadiq Karanchi is also
one of the greatest poets of the democratic era. In the writings of both the writers, the
romantic aspect draws attention to itself. hopeless pessimism are to be found
excessively Zahid Sadiq Karanchi also highlights deth, disappointment separation
loneliness love and longing. There are a lot of simililarity in the lives of Zahid Sadiq
Karanchi and Meeraji.
