Abstract
Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi(1937-2016)is one of the eminent
scholar,exegetes, jurist and a well known interpreter of Quran. Two
great commentries by Allama Saeedi accepted and appreciated all over
the globe.Tibyan-ul-Quran and Tibyan-ul-Furqan by Allama Saeedi
which is indeed a beautiful merger of the old and prevailing thoughts as
well as the modern progressive ideas in field of Tafseer. It is undeniably
an immaculate work of research and a unique insight into the various
aspects of wisdom and divine guidance that the Holy Quran provides to
the mankind. Thus in this paper we will briefly mention the biography
and understanding of the Quran and methodology of interpretation of
distinguished Muslim scholar of recent times
