Abstract
Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Hasan bin Farqad Ash-Shebani (750
- 804) was a mawla of Sheban tribe. He was one of the prominent
students of Imam Abu Hanifa, who soon got his own identity in the
field of Muslim jurisprudence especially in 'Assair' (i.e.
International law). He wrote many books on the same topic, which
was discussed widely among his followers and opponents. In this
article writer discussed his academic legacy.
