Abstract
Nazir Ahmed is pioneer and father of "Reformative story
telling".Although his novels can not be termed as novels in strict
sense. As they don't stand the test of conventional novel definition.
Yet a tale having a specific purpose and delineated factually not
fictionally would be the work of Nazir Ahmed, that can be
categorized as novel. It can be said as evening of story telling or
morning of novel. He collects his stuff from his own society. He
portrays domestic life very skilfully in great detail. His basic purpose
of writing is to educacate house wives about changing
circumstances. His didacticism is in line with the demands of his
age.. His novels reflect the conceptual process of colonial era.This
article is an effort to encompasses the social and historical
perception of Nazir Ahmed.
