Abstract
Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali and Allama Shibli Noumani are both
contemporary personalities and as a matter of fact both were much
confluenced by Ali Garh and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. Both of them won
carrels in the fields of biography writing , history writing and verse writing
art criticism with reference to all these genres. Their writings, style and
methodology may be different but they carry glaring similarity and
commonality. They both made same type of stylistic literary experiments.
They both tried their pens in the best possible way to safeguard the nation
and defend Islam, patriotism and the cases of pitiable conditions of the
Muslims. Both of the guided them nation through their creative and
God-gifted qualities.
