Abstract
This article depicts various aspects of Shibli's poetry. Shibli's whole
poetry is the description of the political incidents of his period and his
religious thoughts. Actually when Shibli saw heartrendeing events around
him, he molded them into the poetry. His religious poetry reminds the
dignity of the Muslims in past and encourages them to follow their forefathers.
