Literary contribution of Javed Shaheen
Abstract
Javed Shaheen is a versatile literary figure in urdu
literatue. He is a good poet of the high repute, renowned
prose writer of high rank and an excellent translator. His
seven collections of works on poetry have been
published. More over, three other books on prose and
thirteen pieces of translation have taken their place in
the market. His services to promote urduliterature can
not be forgotten .The subject under discussion in a good
critical and analytical review of his poetry and prose. In
this topic an attempt is made to establish Javed
Shaheen's status in urdu literature ofPakistan.
