Urdu Novel and tragedy of Eastren Pakistan
Abstract
In this artide, Urdu Novels related to the fall of Dhaka have
been traced out. This article reviews and highlights the influence
and irnpact Of fall Of Dhaka on Urdu literature. The artide points
out that it was not only the partition of 1947 which badly affected
urdu literature, but also the 1971 tragic separation of East
Pakistan gave new ways and dimensions to Urdu literature. This
artide highlights the importance of fall of Dhaka in the history of
urdu novel.
