Urdu short stories of Dr. Muhammad Aslam Rana
Abstract
Dr. Muhammad Aslam Rana was a teacher of Punjabi language
and literature.His served as chairman Of Punjabi department in
oriental colege Punjab university Lahore He was a great scholar
and well read personality Though he was mainly known for his
research work and editing Of both Punjabi and urdu books,he
also contributed to different urdu and Punjabi papers.His
contributions are highly esteemed with the special reference of
short researches and also critique.
In his short stories he always pointed out the depressed people
of the society in a befitting manners.He touched the pulse of the
society through these short stories and added his voice in
alarming situation of the social injustice prevailed in the society
and he given the solution to solve them by the each individual of
the society These short stories already published in various
digests,periodicals of the country.
Although Dr. Muhammad Aslam Rana (Late) was a versatile
genius in Punjabi language and literature. But his short stories
equally contributes in Punjabi and urdu fiction as we'. He did
his experiment in Urdu short story specially we are discussing
here with the special reference Of his contribution.
