Themetic structure of “ ANGAN”
Abstract
Khadija Mustoor's novel ANGAN' is one of the important novels
written after Pakistan's came into being. She has discussed war
of independence, partition, migration and other political issues in
this novel. The political tussle between two big parties of India ,
Congress and Muslim league have also been discussed in the
novel as both parties deeply affected the people of India
Individually and collectively. In ANGAN' Khadija tries to explore
the reasons that how social changes affect the individuals in
society and how certain civilization retrogrades The characters
of Angaan willingly surrenders to their ideologies but do not
leave them.
